I just recieved some new memory (patriot 2x1GiB sticks, CAS2-3-2-5) and I am having some problems. I have run memtest86+ over night and got 7 passes with 0 errors, and I am currently running Prime 95 in blend mode (lots of RAM tested it says). My porblem is that some times Windows will not start, after BIOS POST a black screen ensues. If I reset the same ting happens again. The interesting thing is that if I go into BIOS and change some trivial RAM setting (I havent tried changing someting else), for instance lower or increase the RAM voltage, windows starts fine. And thus far there have been no instability in windows, just during startup.
