i tried to use my usb to boot backtrack5 ...i used isotousb s/w and it showed that iso hav successfully burned to my usb, but when i choose primary boot device as my usb in bios its now loading from my usb but i starting my default windows xp itself all the time...any reason for this prob. Pls help me posters...and is there any other way to try use backtrack in my pc like using it as live or installing in virtualbox etc.

The problem is the software you used is only good for making Windows bootable usb drives. You should use unetbootin instead.
