Hi, i got a Linksys wireless 54G router.

I have tried to connect it with my notebook(wireless)
it says limited or no access to the connectivity after i put the password for connection.

However, i have another PC also connecting to the same router with same password without any problem.

What could be the problem?

Does it connect when the Encryption is Off in the Router.

You must make sure the encryption settings of the router and the client match EXACTLY. What you are describing is a key or encryption mismatch. What kind of encryption are you using and are you using windows zero config (built in) wireless services or the wireless card utility?

You MUST decide if you are going to use windows zero config or the card utility. After that make sure the encryption settings and key match EXACTLY.

What type of encryption are you using, WEP or WPA? If you are using WPA, make sure the wifi drivers you have installed have WPA support. WPA support is provided by the card drivers not windows.

My notebook use Windows Zero (haven't changed it before)

the password/key i entered are exactly the same with my other PC.

My other PC use Asus wireless searching software.
Should i change to another software to solve this problem or will it?
