Problem w/ tv-out

Hello all.

Recently I have been trying to get my tv-out for my video card to work. I have gotten pretty far, but I have one thing that is tripping me up. On one of my tv's I can display it perfectly through my VCR because that particular tv doesn't have video in. On another tv of mine, using the same vcr, I can display it, but it won't be in color. That tv does have video in, but I still get the same problem, using the vcr or hooking it straight up to the tv. It won't display in color.

Does anyone think they may have a solution to this problem of mine? I know the tv displays in color because I have verfied it through the cable tv service. Thanks to anyone who can provide me with some sort of solution or something to try. At this point, I think it may be something wrong with the tv, but I'm hoping it isn't that.

If you weren't in the US I would say that the PAL/NTSC setting was wrong. It may be still worth playing around with those settings and see if one will work better.

The problem with most TV outs on graphic cards is that they often don't quite match the signal specs, the more fussy screens tend to have odd problems. From what I've heard the TV out on the Holywood+ DVD decoder card is a lot better than most.

Well its not like the problem that i'm having is with fuzziness. Granted the screen is fuzzy compared to my monitor but I can live with that. The problem is it won't display color at all. If I hook the tv up the same way to a different source, it will display color perfectly. I dunno what it is. Thanks for your input bevancoleman. I'll try playing around with the settings a little more. If anyone else has any input it would be much appreciated.
