problem w/ TV/Cable

i'm not sure if it's a problem w/ the cable or w/ the TV...

the red and the other colors are misalligned..so it gives an appreance of blurred text...any way to fix this?...i'm pretty sure this has to do w/ the TV....remote doesn't come w/ convergence settings...nor does the TV itself...sigh



also, any way to get rid of the colors made from a magnet?....only if TV had the degaussing option like monitors 🙁
..well, the problem here isn't too noticeable....(only if you look long enough and strain a bit)...but it'll be cool to get rid of it if possible...

you can get a degaussing coil at an electronics store. they just plug in, and you hold it up to the tv, bring it back slowly, and turn the coil off.

oof..they're like 50 bucks (did a quick search)..any for less than 30 or so?..

anyways, eventually i'll do that....and the tool might come in handy in the future....so anyone know how to get rid of that color convergence problem?..thx
 
So it a tube TV, not a projection...well, in that case, you may just have to deal with it, unless you want to open up the TV and mess around with the magnets on the yoke and the tube. There may be convergence settings in the service menu, but I doubt that.
