Problem w/ Samsung 710T!?

Hi, I just bought my Samsung 710T monitor, and I notice on boot, I can't see anything until the Windows XP loading screen comes on. Before that, I can't see anything. Any solution, I really need to know because I need to get into the BIOS. Anyone else have this problem?
 
The LCD autodetects DVI or VGA when you turn it on every time (I just got one of these btw).

As for not coming up when you boot, I'm not sure. List your system specs (video card, motherboard, etc) and maybe someone can identify the problem better.
