Problem w/radeon 64 ddr

I just got my radeon 64mb ddr,and it`s a little choppy on the dvd`s.Is there a setting I may have missed?16 * pioneer dvd,512 mb ram,KK266 mb
 
DMA is enabled for the dvd drive.The demo,radeons ark,does the same.It doesen`t play smoth as it should.About every 4 seconds,it sort of hangs for a split second.
