Problem w/ @home and router

I've been a subscriber to cable modem service w/ my local provider for about 2 1/2 years now and just recently @home has taken them over. I have a linksys 4 port router with 4 different pcs connected to it that work fine without a problem as far as internet connections go. however for some reason i am unable to access my email when i am plugged in the router. plug my pc in to the modem and all goes well checks my mail w/o a problem. is there anyone who is having this problem besides me. my old pop3 server which was "pop.suscom.net" worked fine through the router but my new pop3 server which is oddly call just "mail" doesn't work at all. need help. getting pissed.
 
Each client machine needs to have its own DNS entries entered in manually, or use DHCP-enabled DNS information from your internet sharing router. Client machines don't know how to resolve "mail" or "news" for nntp newsgroups with the @home service, unless they have the DNS information.

If that doesn't work, your @home account should have given you the appropriate mail and news server info, ie:

mail.xxxxxxx.xx.wave.home.com
news4.xxxx.xx.wave.home.com

I listed the domain name and the IP of the 20 email servers for @home
The IPs tend to change so you might be better to use the domain name.
