problem w/ 9500 and Morrowind

well... I just built this comp: 2.4C/IS7, 256MB RAM, WD800JB, and an OEM Radeon 9500. I have been pretty happy with the whole setup.... Some inital settings in the CATs were screwed up, but I fixed that with a reformat....

Now, morrowind is one of my favourite games, and I is one of the few games I haven't been able to get running on this system. It does work with old Cat 3.0's, but the newer Cat (3.5, 3.6, Omegas) just freezes me whenever I try to play (when I try to get up onto deck.... savegames freeze tooo). So... does anyone know of any solutions?

Any Help Would Be Appreciated.....

i think it is a problem with left over drivers
uninstall from controll panel
use driver cleaner
install 3.6s

nope... I had these problems with fresh installs.... and there is a pretty nice util. @ driversheaven that removes all traces of old drivers that the add/remove program does not! Thanks for trying though...
