Problem upgrading to XP Pro...

I was upgrading from home to pro and when the setup restarted the computer Blue Screens because of some hard drive problem. It tells me to run scandisk or something.

How do I go back to Home?? I think I'm just going to get the 64bit windows and use that instead of normal Pro.

You need to run scandisk and you need to try to repair the installation if you want to recover any of your information. If you don't care though you may aswell try the win64.

how do I run scandisk at this point? How should I repair the install?

You can run scandisk by putting a floppy in your drive then when you come to a command prompt just type scandisk c: ( or whatever the drive letter is that your os is installed on.
