I'm having a problem trying to set up wireless internet. The computer is wireless it has Toshiba Wireless LAN Mini PCI card. It also says it's working properly. But, not receiving a signal. It first had Windows 2000 and then we removed that and reinstalled Windows XP. When I also go to control panel, add and remove it just shows Windows XP downloaded no Intel (R) PROSet for Wireless or Intel (R)PRO Network Adapers and Drivers. All of that is on my son's laptop and he also has a Toshiba Sat. Here are the specs for it

location: on Texas Instruments PCI-1410CardBus Cont.
Driver provider: Agere Systems
Driver date: 8/31/2001
Driver version: 7.16.0.189

It says it has a Internal WIFI 802.11b Wireless

Just a tip - you have to press 'REPLY'.
Just pressing enter/return won't do it......

Anyway,
Did you install the chipset drivers when you installed XP?

Did you put your computer together, or did someone you know do this?
If so, you should have got a cd with the mobo - this will have chipset drivers on it.
Shove it in and install the drivers.

Better still, go to your mobo manufacturer's website, and, ensuring you sure of the model no. of the mobo, dl the drivers and install them.
