Problem starting computer

I made a topic yesterday about my problem starting my computer link can be found here (I forgot my passowrd and the email I signed up with thats why i have a knew name). I reformated my computer and I still have to use winxp to start my computer. A couple people said it could be my bios what should I look for? I enter my bios by hitting del at startup right, then advanced bios? Someone said see if bios shawdowing was on I looked but I didn't see that. I have a Asus A7N8X-X if that matters.
