Ok, im new to this forum and happy to see that anandtech HAS a forum...I didnt see it before.

Anyways, I think this is the best place to post my problem so here it is.
I have loud SSSSSSHHHHHH sounds from my speakers and the did not go away when I made my new computer. The sounds randomly every once in a while (average 1/3hrs) even when the sound is turned al the way down i dont know where the problem comes from but I know where it can come from, here's a list.

The PSU (ULTRA X-conect 500watt) and the case are the only pieces I kept from the old case I think the PSU is the most suceptible of being the problem so I listed it first. Then it could be the AC97 driver or the MSI mobo (wich is a new MSI mobo (NEO4-F) but maybe its a problem MSI has on their mobos). It could also be, but almost certanly not, the monitor.

The problem is not the speakers (it does the same with headphones).

I can live with it but if you guys cant help me il have to declare it possesed and change my UV lights from Green to Red.

You might have a blown speaker or your amplifier can have a voltage leak. Since you changed your computer and the noise is still there, I suspect your speaker system. Do you have an external amplifier which the speakers are attached to. If you do attach a cd or mp3 player to the amplifier and see if the sound is still there.

I do not use an external amplifier, just onboard sound and the problem isin't with the speakers because if i change speakers it still does the same thing.

And thanks for the Welcome. n_n
