I have an 20.5GB ibm hard drive with twi partition running with WinME and Wnn2000 dual mode.
I dunno what i did when i first set it up before but last week i realized that i have only 12Gb on drive C and 6GB on Drive D. 2Gb are missing.
So i decided to reformat the whole hard drive.
I ran WIN boot disk's Fdisk and found out that there is 12GB(apporx.) for Primary Partition and 8Gb for Logical Partition which looks good. But when i checked the Extended Drive, it has only 6GB in the Extended Drive under Logical Partition, I deleted the 6GB Extended and it said NO EXTENDED DRIVE Defines. But when i tried to delete the Logical Partition it sais CANNOT DELETE LOGITAL WHILE EXTENDED PARTITION EXIST! Help!!!

Partition magic also works well, however non microsoft software should
only ever be used as a last resort, so

I would stick my win2k cd rom into the computer
and turn it on, have it boot from the cd
and then use the partition manager that comes up to ask you
where you want to install win2k
this is the easiest and fastest way

note you do not have to accually finish the install
