OK, put everything together, everything worked fine, installed everything, blah blah. I realized that my NIC was ISA, and my Epox 8K7A doesnt have ISA slots, so like an IDIOT I yanked the NIC out the computer while it was still running. The computer spontaneously shut down, and now won't even turn on when I hit the switch. I checked all the connections, I don't think anything came loose (especially checked the power switch; it is definitely still connected). What should I do? I have a spare PSU, should I try that? Or is there some breaker that I can flip or something. What could possibly cause the computer to shut down so spontaneously? (YES, it is still plugged in). PLEASE HELP

NEVERMIND. Somehow, it was the POWER CORD. Still plugged in, but the cable magically became bad. How removing the NIC caused this I do not know.

When you short an ATX power supply it will crowbar from the current overload. To reset it you have to unplug it for a few moments and then plug it back in. No mystery here!
