i was messing with my internet options and blindly started setting stuff up in content advisor,... after which i realized what i just did, went to disable it and thought i did, but now everytime i open a new explorer window or restart windows... theres a pop-up telling me something is missing in contetn advisor panel, also IE won't go to ANY sites at all until i go and use the password to enable it again... help!, how do i disable it again?

fixed it...
for anyone who was curious or also have this problem...

just remove the key from registry using regedit at the below location...

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Policies\Ratings]

Heheh.. I had to fix that one time for a VP's home computer for a company I used to work for. Took me a good while to track down that fix in a newsgroup.. I had a hard time explaining to the guy that it was NOT AOL that broke his computer (at least not that time).
