Problem Solved: CMOS checksum error--defaults loaded

Recently I bought a used Abit ZM6 which seems to function fine except every time it's cold booted, I get the message described in the title. When I go into the bios the processor is identified as a 300(66) (the default I assume), although at boot it shows the processor correctly (466). I then have to correctly set the processor and everything is fine from then on. I've tried reflashing the bios, swapping in another CMOS battery, and identifying the CPU in the soft menu both as 466(66) and through user define, but the problem remains. Let me have your ideas. Thanks.

Solved by chaosmachine on Hardforum--the CMOS pin was hanging off.
