Problem setting up Raid 0 on ASUS K8V Deluxe

I have 2 western digital 80gb drives and wish to set them up in a raid 0. I have 3 ide ports on the motherboard. The standard Primary and Secondary and then the Raid. I have both drives on an IDE cable plugged into the raid port. When i boot i hit the control F to enter the bios to set the drives up. No matter what i do it only see's one drive. I think i've tried every hard drive pin combo but its possible i didnt. So anybody know what i'm doing wrong?
