Well my ftp server worked with the netgear router before the new firmware version 3.20 came out. I installed the firmware but now no matter what i try, dmz, port fwd, i cannot get anyone to be able to connect to my ftp server on no matter what port I ran it on. Im not sure what to do, im running win2k pro and I tried IIS, Gene6 and servu ftp, but I know its not that because it doesnt even connect. I think I turned off all the filters but Im not sure

had a problem, it needed a straight not crossover cable to connect, did you try that?

That would have nothing to do with it as everything works including port forwarding for starcraft. The only thing not working is ftp serving.

Make sure you do that (turn all filters off) !!

I've spent two days trying to figure out how would the stupid router serve FTP only to find out that the FTP port is being filtered :(

I'm having the SAME EXACT problem as you... I'm on win2k... and I just can't get the port forwarding to work

Try messing around with the Telnet_Ftp_Wan Filter set config...

Delete it if you have to ...

This is the culprit that makes me spend 2 days to setup my FTP server
