All comps are using XP Pro. Basically I can see all the other computers and view the shared folders etc except for one computer. It's asking me to login with a user name and password when I try to access it through my network places. Any idea how I can get around this?

Also I don't understand. I keep reading how I have to have my user name and password on the other computers since I'm using a workgroup to network my computers. The thing is, I just set my box up, changed the workgroup name that it is apart of and I can easily access various folders and files on one other computer that is on the network that I have no user name or password on. How do I do this with the one computer that I'm having a problem with? I was able to connect when it prompted me with the login and password box as I have the user name and password myself.

Please advise.

Apparantly you do not have Simple File Sharing enabled on that PC. Google it or even use the windows help if you need assistance turning it on. Or someone may come along and give you a step by step. Simple file sharing is for those not willing to setup their windows LAN properly so I have never used it. ;)
