Just got my new system up and running with IWILL XP-333-R w/ Cmi8738 5.1 sound, and a 1600 XP processor, with 256 mb crucial ram. Anyways, everytime i run Ghost Recon, the sound begins to become scrambled, repeating, rather. And then, whenever i click on "start new campaign", immediately it crashes. Has anyone else had these kind of problems, or can suggest something? Ive been trying other games as well, similar problems are happening.

Suggestions?

Thanks,
Adam

it's a LONG shot but have you checked your cpu temps? the c-media chip is supposed to be good but supposedly it feeds off of the cpu much like other onboard audio chips. the only guess i have is that the heat is getting to your cpu during gaming? like i said......it's a longshot. how are your benchmarks? is teh cpu stable under full load?
