Problem running Games with IWLLxp333-4 and Cmi8738

Just got my new system up and running with IWILL XP-333-R w/ Cmi8738 5.1 sound, and a 1600 XP processor, with 256 mb crucial ram. Anyways, everytime i run Ghost Recon, the sound begins to become scrambled, repeating, rather. And then, whenever i click on "start new campaign", immediately it crashes. Has anyone else had these kind of problems, or can suggest something? Ive been trying other games as well, similar problems are happening.

Suggestions?

It sounds like a normal integrated sound problem. I have had it happen with any AC97 onboard sound I've tried to use. That's why I always buy a sound card. I thought that maybe the C-media chip that is in the Iwill would be different, but from what you're saying, it doesn't look like it is.
