Problem running age of wonders 2

Hello

I recently upgraded my system with the following: Asus A7n8x (non delux), Barton 2500, two sticks of corsair xms cas 2.0 (256 mb). I run windows ME. At first I was having problems with my video driver. I have an MSI geForce 4 ti 4400. So I downloaded the detonater driver from nvidia. Now things are rock soild. The only problem I have is running age of Wonders 2.

In orded for me to be able to run the game I have to uncheck the use direct 3d box. I am glad that this allows me to run the game but the graphics suck. Is there a way to correct this problem??? Please help this is one of my favorite games.

Your previous system had ME too? Cause if it didn't, there's your problem. I recommend win2k (my os). Age of Wonders 2 runs fine on it.

If it did...hmm. I'd say a reformat. Yesterday I reformatted entirely 3 times trying to get Rune to work. Never did succeed

You have the latest chipset drivers? If not, that may help.

On my older system I had ME as my operating system with no problems
