Problem restarting Could be my motherboard

okay i have this problem and everytime I want to start my computer I have to reset the jumper. If I don't it says something about not finding the NTDRL file or something like that. So if I just restart it seems like there isn't a hard drive, but if I reset the jumper it starts without a problem. This wouldn't be too bad if I didn't want to overclock and the clock resets everytime to Jan. 2000. Can anyone help me. Is this a hard drive problem or a motherboard problem and will I have to buy a new one? Oh by the way this is an MSI K7T pro 2A mobo.

yes sounds very much like mobo issue...its cmos keeps resetting so it forgets where your OS is so you get the NTLDR problem(nt and 2000).

either u need a new cmos battery(c2032 prolly)...or your board needs some work. get a new battery($2) and if still bad...very likely board related issue.
