[Problem] Repeating Thief, how to catch and future prevention?
we are running a local home base perogie making and food restaurant for community polish hall, however, we have been facing constant thief over few years.

we only open on Tuesday and Friday, and usually we got frozen perogies stolen every week, either Wednesday or Thursday (every Friday my wife did a count and always at least 10 bags of 10 dozens perogies are missing, we talking about at least 1200+ perogies)

there more background story, we are operate in a polish hall, meaning we took over the management a month ago, as previous president embezzled alot of money and almost run the perogies business to the ground.

the community polish hall is a charity organization, we use all the money we made for student scholarship, renovation and local community events. now, because theif we are nearly break even....

the polish hall has been there since 1924, we don't want to close it down...

PEOPLE i need some HELP

we did the following:
-Changed Locks
-Put "an" IP Camera (for some reason is totally busted)

how do i catch this guy? and prevent future thief? kinda really wanna catch the guy first...

All the door has lock, so as freezers, the perogies are stored in all of the freezer, and the thief steal from any one of them

*** all te Freezers has the additional Padlock, and we changed ALL PADLOCK on the freezer already...

This is the polish hall layout

Put a padlock on the freezer. Or if many people need to get into the freezer, don't store the pierogies there - bring them with you when you are going to be open.

Step 1: Remove all light bulbs in and around freezer.
Step 2: Bear traps.
Step 3: Profit!

Multiple cameras? They are pretty cheap.
Padlocks on the freezer doors that only you have access to?
Bring a laptop and stay a few nights with the extra security cameras feeding to it so you can watch and apprehend the thief.

I think my first idea is best though :awe:

It sounds like you don't have control of all the keys. Somebody has a key to the building, somebody you think you trust.
I'm sorry to sound so crass about it but it usually is somebody you know and think you can trust.

Is this a setup for a pollack joke?

A Pollack walked into a bar and sat down at the bar, where a news report was on TV. On the news a man was on a ledge outside an upper floor of a building threatening to jump. The bartender, who'd seen the news report before said, "I'll bet you $50 he's going to jump." The Pollack took the bet and put down a $50 bill on the bar. Then the man on the ledge jumped to his death. The bartender picked up the $50 bill but then, realizing that he'd taken advantage of a poor, dumb Pollack, his conscience got the better of him and he said, "Look, I'm going to give you back your money. I have to confess that I saw that news report before." "That's O.K.," said the Pollack, "I saw it before too, but I didn't think he was gonna do it again!"

Wait, so everything is locked but stuff is still being stolen? Ever think that it might be someone with a key?

I have two theories, either the OP is posting from his phone on the way home (which would explain the spelling) or, he thinks his post was crystal clear and is puzzled why none of us has a clue what the real problem is.

guys, I have seen the OP post before. English is his second language.
Edit:
So, what do you think of my theory, that it is somebody with a key?
