I just reformated my Win98SE drive, and have been trying to get the bootmenu for Win2k pro and Win98SE back. I have tried the program called "bootpart" (put under my C: dir) and used the command "BOOTPART WINNT BOOT:C:" but when the computer reboots, I get the error "NTLDR is missing." So, I set it back by using the above command, and replacing WINNT with WIN98. I currently have Win98SE installed on my C: drive and Win2k pro on my G: drive.
I have also tried booting from my Win2k cd, but my computer just doesn't seem to know the cd-rom exists, though I have my cd-rom setup as my 1st boot device in the bios. Is there any way I could load the recovery console manually in dos? Any suggestions are much appreciated...
