I run all ways MBProbe (http://mbprobe.livewiredev.com/) and without really changing too much, other than displaying the temps in F instead of C and raising the warning alert, I get the follwoing:
Mobo: 47C/117F (which varies between 110F-120F depending on what I do)
CPU: 37C/98F
Aux1: 31C/87F (or there abouts, it jumps all over the place
There is a settings to tell it which sensor to use for which display
Currently they read as:
Mobo: SiS 950:1
CPU: SiS 950:2
Aux1: SiS 950:3
My other options are; Asus CUSL2, Tekram and Tyan MP2460 (the last one locks up MBProbe if I try using it) and there is an Aux2 that can be displayed but I have it set to no sensor
AIDA32 (http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php)
Mobo: 37C/99F
CPU: 35C/97F
Aux: 47C/117F
No sensor settings for which display as far as I can tell or find
The BIOS give me
CPU: 46C
System: 36C
So my question is, should I trust the BIOS readings, in which case I need to change which sensor is reading what in MBProbe?
Which also means that AIDA32 is reading CPU as Aux.
I'm guessing the BIOS readin for the System temp is the Mobo temp.
That still leaves me wondering what MBProbe is reading for Aux? The graphic card maybe? How can I tell? It's not like I yank the card about and see what readings I get.
CPU: AMD Thunderbird 900mhz
Mobo: Jetway V6FP
Chipset: VIA VT 8375 (KM266), VIA VT 8235 South Bridge
Fans: 1 CPU, 1 case exhaust back, 1 case intake front (I have another on the side of the case on the access panel also an intake but the panel is off for the time being), 1 on video card, and of course 1 in the PSU.
