ebay would back you up 100%. but no seller would ever sell to you again 🙂
LOLNot true.
Ive had a 100% positive for years now and I can't shoot any more straight forward, I doubt it would effect it much..99.7% positive would be a worse case scenario.
All I have for this card is hdmi , I'm wondering if it's driver issues. I can't instal catalyst because the next and cancel buttons are not visible in 640 resolution. I have to manually locate the drivers from the device manager..But if you select driver for "r9 2xx series windows 7 64bit" then it seems it should work.. right? Can you try the card in another computer? Do you have other cables you can use, such as DVI to HDMI, or the DVI to VGA adapter?
Hmm well, perhaps a continuity test on the molex to 8 pin... Because all connections are secure ??That doesn't look like bad memory. More like a bad connection.
You sure you connected it properly?
Can you provide photos of the molex connectors you're hooking into the card? Are there any cobbling going on? If this checks out get a refund and we will help you find the right card with the budget you provide. In general, if there is uncertainty involved I recommend new as this has more potential to narrow down headaches.
yep , I have an old card in the same slot it's just fine..The other slot,my case is so tight can't use a big video card in it..I had to slot it out the hard drive rack just to get the 280x in the upper pci-e slot..A pretty job of it I might addThat sucks
Did the guy at the PC shop even try it or did he just hear your story and concluded as much?
Did you try your old card in the same PCIe slot? How many graphic card slots does your motherboard have anyway?
I'm using an hdtv , The guy at the shop used dvi and hdmi both did the same thing...I had similar type of things happening with an ASUS R9 280X TOP a bit with dual monitors, but have a 47" 1080P and a Dell 2560 X 1080P widescreen hooked up, I went DVI-D dual link and it fixed most my problems to the Dell, the 47 inch never had probs on the HDMI.
Not sure what monitor you have running there, but in my experience the DVI-D cable cleared it up.
My Dell came with a nice DVI-D dual link Cable, it might be worth trying one out.
