I have a perplexing problem. I receive large pdf files (roughly 90 pages) that are a mixture of letter and legal size pages that I need to print out. My problem is that once I reach a legal size page, that and all subsequent pages will be printed on legal size paper.
Equipment: Brother MFC-8840D printer (direct connect via USB), regular tray loaded with letter size paper, optional add-on tray loaded with legal, MS Vista, Adobe Reader 10.1.3 software being used. MS Vista Home Premium with SP2, all software and drivers updated and current.
The printer settings used: Size options-Actual Size and Choose Paper Source by PDF Page Size selected, printer driver Brother PCL5e, letter and legal both set to auto select.
Any help would be appreciated, I have spent a lot of time and gone through a lot of paper trying to get this to work right.
PS-to make it worse, sometimes a mixed size pdf will print out correctly, it seems to matter which client I recieve it from.
