Problem printing from a dos program with windows 2k

hi there..

I have a problem with a dos program, i can't get it to print to a HP laserjet 4...

I am using a w2k client and the dos program is on a netware 3.12 server.

I can log on to the server, see the printer and print from windows based programs with no problems.

The dos based program (pegasus senior accounting, now unsupported) seems to work fine, but when i try to print i get an error box that says 'ERROR "no document name" to lpt1 the device is not ready'.

I belive it is a driver problem as HP drivers do not support dos programs...

I am new to printers and dos programs and do not have a clue what to do about solving the problem....


Any help would be greatfuly accepted

You might be able to use something like DosPrint.
