Problem playing xvid video file

I'm trying to watch a TV show from Bittorrent on my dad's laptop. The file name says "DSR.XviD-LOKi" When I play it on the laptop, the video flashes green a few times a second, but the sound works fine. Does the same thing no matter what video player. Other xvid encoded video files seem to work fine. What can I do to fix this?
