Problem playing videos on 2 monitors at once. Any help is appreciated

I have a radeon 9800 pro. DVI to VGA adapter attached to DVI out.

Primary monitor viewsonic a90f+ secondary sony trinitron hmd240

Same refresh rates at 1024 x 768 85hz

Trying to play windows media player movies on both monitors at once. Movies shows fine on primary monitor, but just a black screen in media player on the other.

I also tried using the DIvx player, and the same thing happens. The Divx player pops ip on the second monitor, but there is no video, just blank blackness.

(Note: desktop shows fine, media player shows fine, but no picture)

Any ideas?

IIRC you cannot currently do this on ATI cards, only on matrox or nvidia cards that support display stretching (not spanning)
