Problem playing mp3s on winamp from cd

Our company purchased 9 new Dell computers and all hdds were ghosted. My problem is only on one computer. Our company does not allow installing programs on the computers so each of my cds contain mp3s and a copy of winamp. On one of the computers the songs start and stop, start and stops. I can hear the cd rom repeatedly start and stop. The other 8 computers, the music plays fine and they play fine on the older models of Dell still in use. The in company teck support can't find any thing wrong. Help.

Try replacing the cd-rom drive with another one from another Dell... might void the warranty though. Try another mp3 player... or doesn't windows media player play them?

they said they replaced it but so far it still does the same thing. I'm not sure if it has WMP on it because I'm writing this for my dad who is having the problem.
