Problem playing games on 6800 Ultra

I have a 6800 ultra. Whenever I start playing games, the game freezes, this happening in any game I play. I checking my GPU temperature which remains around 70 under load. I have no idea why is it freezing.. if I ty hit CRTl-ALT-DEL it also does not works..the whole PC hangs.. after ~20 secs the PC unfreezes and again freezes after ~5 secs

could it be the power supply?
 
Let us know what model PSU you have, or brand and wattage, and maybe we could help further... I had a 6800 Ultra, and it did the same thing. Clocked my memory down to 333 and it worked better for a while, but ultimately it was the PSU. Bought a 500 watt Antec SmartPower 2.0 and my problems vanished.
 
well.. yes, it probably is the power supply. i have two ultra's actually hooked up to a 500 watter and i've had that issue as well (need to fix that actually...). also, for some more help, just post a few more specs please.
 
i have @power power supply 430 watt. Other then that I am runing 3200+ 64 at 2.4 ghz, Ga- k8nsc motherboard, 2x512 mb Patriot (2.5-3-3-5),1 cd-rw drive, 2 hardisk, and I have just installed creative x-fi and notticed that this problem has increased after installing it.


 
i got a new power supply from CC Antec smartpower 2.0 500 Watt for 49.99 after rebate..playing games since last hr..did not encounter the problem so far..
