Hi, I have finally gotten around to trying to hook up my Computer(DVD player) to my TV and everything works until the movie actually starts to play. My system is as follows:
Thunderbird 1.2G
A7V133 motherboard
256MB Ram
8X DVD player
I'm using an old Hercules Terminator Beast w/TV-out. I hook the comp up to the TV and it shows your standard windows stuff and the Win DVD program starts the DVD. I see the "Warning this video is protected..." BS and then when the actual movie starts the TV gives me "unusable signal". Could the DVD program be trying to change the resolution to 800x600? When I first start the DVD I get a little message saying for best results use 800x600 but I just click on the continue bar and leave it at 640x480. As far as I can tell the computer is running fine I'm just not getting a signal to the TV. Any suggestions?
