Okay here's the deal:

Today I was looking at my motherboard manufacturer's website(Abit) and I found a motherboard tuning guide for my KX7-333R. I thought it would help my performance out a bit so I printed the page and started messing with the settings in the BIOS. The First things I did was I changed the Enhanced For Benchmark to Enabled and I set the CPU Fast Command Decode to Ultra. Then, I rebooted to see if the computer would boot and sure enough it booted fine. Next, I messed with the DRAM settings. I changed the DRAM CAS Latency to 2 instead of 2.5, I changed the Bank Interleave to 4 Bank, i changed the Precharge to active(Trp) to 2T, Active to Precharge to 5T, and Active to CMD(Trcd) to 2T. Then I rebooted to see if my system liked that or not and it would not boot up. So I cleared the CMOS by using the CMOS discharge jumper and I turned the computer back on and it booted up and everything. So I left those last DRAM settings to their default so I would not have any problems. Next, I changed the Enhance DRAM Performace to Enabled and DRAM Access to 2T. Then I rebooted and my system would not boot up. I changed the CMOS discharge jumper to pins 2 & 3 for about 10 seconds to clear the CMOS and I tried booting and it would not boot! The computer would turn on and I could hear the hard drive loading but I did not hear the POST beep and I don't have video. I do not know what is going on but I suspect that something is wrong with the RAM. It is a generic stick of 128MB. Could I have permanently damaged my RAM? Or maybe my BIOS isn't resetting? I really need some help so any thoughts will be a huge help. Thanks!

set the jumper to clear cmos, and try to turn the computer on, wait 10 seconds, then pull the power cord. Then put the jumper in normal mode, and boot. There are very few real cl 2 pc2700 sticks of memory. I recommend NOT to mess with the dram settings at all. As for the rest, play abound, but when in doubt go back to default settings, they work just fine. Anything else you do may not let the system be as stable. (I have one of these) If you want more speed, put in a faster processor. (IMO)
