In media I use it doesn't matter, I even have some 730mb cd's and I still can't burn over 703mb, ever.

I'm using Nero 5.5.9.0, and I'm gonna try 5.5.9.9 here soon, but I know people been doing this for a long time, so I don't think this is really any problem with the versions. Using a Lite-on 40X burner, so it should be good to go. Maybe I'm missing something? I'm not sure, I've read about overburning, seems fairly simply, but I can't seem to do it.

I did take a pic, maybe it can help picture of the error message I get

Your drive needs to be able to overburn by the amount you want - don't know how much you can overburn with the Lite-On. Also, some media doesn't overburn well.

Anywho, in Nero, File, Preferences, Expert Features. In there you can enable overburning. You need to choose how much you are going to overburn, too much and it will fail. You just have to play around with the lengths.

Yeah I know how to enable it, in the pic it shows it's enabled to begin with...

But you say it will fail if I put the overburn on too high? Hmm can you tell me what you used and your results? Like I said before, I've tried various media, all of which won't go over 703mb. I've had it set to 84-90mins, perhaps that's too high? How would I go about finding out how much 1min is in size? Some of the CD's I have should be good for 730mb's, but on the label it also lists 80mins... So kinda strange.
