Problem opening iPhoto

iPhoto starts to open, then stops with a blank white screen and beach ball.

If I right click on the Dock icon, it shows three "iPhoto Library".
"Show All Windows" also identifies three "iPhoto Library".
I only set up one iPhoto Library. I do not see a way to close any of those libraries.

How do I get iPhoto to open with my one and only "iPhoto Library"?

Holding option while starting iPhoto will give you the option to choose what library you want to open and the ability to set the default.

I think the problem might be with the hard drive I have my iPhoto library on. I am going to clone the data to another drive and see if that helps.

Some errors came up during cloning. Once I am done cloning the other partitions and restore the missing files from backup, I will check the disk more closely.

Good thing I have an extra 2TB drive laying around.

The new hard drive seems to have fixed the iPhoto problem, but has caused another one.

Ok, so it looks like everything is back to normal with the new hard drive, iPhoto and iTunes.
