Problem on XP Pro

I am having problems where Windows XP Pro SP2 keeps redetecting a USB device. In my case one is a Belkin wireless USB adaptor and in another a HP Scanjet 3300.

What happens is there seems to be an endless cycle of new hardward detected and then I run the install and hit finished, and then it starts all over again.

What is the cure for this problem?
 
Ok,

I reinstalled the Epox motherboard drivers and it seems to have gotten rid of the problem. Something must have been whacked or corrupted.
