Problem on ADSL connection

Hi everybody, I have a problem here and need help from you.. 🙂

Recently I registered for ADSL service from my ISP, everything work properly (i.e. surfing, chatting,

email etc) until yesterday when i try to download 3dmark03 from futuremark.com.. first i try a mirror,

the download speed is between 20 -> 30kb/s.. but everytime when the progress is around 5mb, it freeze

there and not downloading anymore.. then i stop it and try again, same thing happen..

Then I try another mirror, but the server is extremely slow, only can download at 4 -> 6kb/s.. but

then the progress was good, it download until 15mb and still running.. by the way, it is too slow for

me to download a 177MB file!!

After a few more tries, I found that when I download at 20kb/s and above, the download willl freeze

when the progress is <10mb.. when I download at slow speed ( <10kb/s ), the download have no problem,

just very slow only..

My ADSL speed is 384kbps/128kbps.. I check the dns address and it is correct..

Are there any additional settings need to change in order to use ADSL? It is really weird.. help me

Depending on how well your DSL connection is tweaked. Also if your phone line is in good shape or not. Since your DSL line is rated for 384kbps/128kbps.

The max download speed you would see is like 45 kb/sec. Upload speed would be around like 16 kb/sec. Again this depending on how good your line is. Also how well your DSL connection is tweaked. The people here at this forum can help you with your dsl.
