problem on 3rd party screensavers

it appears to be just white and nothing else.... but windows screensavers worked fine... this problem happened i think after when i had a video card driver update but im not yet sure if this is the cause... could it be?

anyone had similar issue as this?

did yuo use driver cleaner during the update process? you maight have messed up the update a littl if you didnt.

ahhmmm nope... is it really necessary? im using geniune catalysts eversince... plan to rollback to 5.1 and see if it'll fix the problem...
 
Unfortunately I have had that same problem.

Bought a 3D Christmas screensaver that I really liked from VRman back in the day.

When I went from a 3dfx card to my current ATI 9800 Pro, the screensaver stopped working for me. I've since gone through about six different drivers and the only driver that would ever make the screensaver work was an Omega driver. Can't very well choose a driver and stick with it just for the screensaver.

Oh well.
