Problem:
Some black block come out at windows 98se when open more the one small windows explorer with restore size.

Please Help!!

What drivers do you have for the G400??

Use the 5.52 drivers if you are not already.

Is the G400 overclocked??

Do the blocks go away if you clock your processor back to normal speeds??

I'm not sure what drivers is but i will update it to latest.
It run with 440BX, 89MHz FSB!!!
When i turn back to normal speed, it will ok!

My Matrox G400 Max runs 133MHz bus just fine and I don't overclock my video card. I remember a while ago that Tomshardware tested a G400 Max and he couldn't get it to run 133MHz bus either. I guess I am just luck then?

tonyou, no, tom is just unlucky. The G400s are some of the best high fsb video cards out there. Is your G400 MAX overclocked? If it is, set it back to normal. Firstly because everything will become normal again and secondly because overclocking the G400 MAX does virually nothing. I know of someone who actually got slower when he went from the 166/200 to 200/225. 😛
