Problem moving files

[CDC Mail Guy]

I have several folders in "My Pictures", and I just transferred some photos from my camera into "My Pictures". When I click on one of the photos, and then click on "move this file", the "Move Items" box comes up, but only "My Pictures" shows up. There is no + next to it, so I cannot drop down menu to chose what folder to put them into. Any idea why?

Edit: Dragging and dropping still works.

Try running chkdsk with the /r switch from the recovery console or schedule it for the next boot-up. There might be some file system problems.

Ran chkdsk and found no errors. How do I do the /r now?

chkdsk [drive name:] /r

e.g:
chkdsk c: /r

for viewing more available switches, type:
chkdsk /?
