Problem making ameritech DSL work on redhat 7.0

I have a Linux Redhat 7.0 box.
Have speedstream 5360 Efficient ADSL modem provided by Ameritech (Enternet PPPoE).
Want to configure it on Linux box. Ameritech doesn't provide any support when it comes to Linux.
Has anybody tried this?

Seems you will have to look into roaring penguin PPPoE, or similar. Sorry, never had to use it myself, but pretty sure this is what ya need to get a connection in Linux set up.......

Have you upgraded to 7.1 or 7.2 yet? The rp-pppoe package comes with those distros, not sure about 7.0............ Upgrade, then use the Network Administration Tool or internet-druid to set up rp-pppoe.

The DSL is running well on Linux machine with the help of Roaring penguin PPPoE client.
I have 2 NICS.
DSL is working on - ETH0
I want to connect - ETH1. to my lan thru HUB. And share the internet connection.
What should I do for that??

I checked the site and folloed the instructions....

I have given the IPS manually....
Linux server - 192.168.0.1 to my ETH1 (second NIC)

clients - 192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.3

I tested the network with ping and its working..
but when I try to connect to internet from my client...
It gets a message -- "permission by the server denied" something like that
I made some changes but couldn't figure it out...

Any clue why this is happening??
