Problem launching URLs in new window, IE 5.5

Hi,

I'm using IE 5.5/Win 98, and lately I can't get links to open up in a window. When I click them, a new window opens up , but just sits there at that point, and I've got to copy the shortcut into my address bar. I've haven't changed anything since it worked.
Any suggestions?

Thanks!

There's an option somewhere (don't know where, I hardly ever use IE) to do this. You could try a search for 'repairing IE' or something like that.

Thanks, Elledan, for pointing me in the right direction. If you select "Add/Remove" IE in the control panel, it gives you an option to repair instead of confirming removal. Worked like a charm. 🙂
Once again, this forum helps me out of a real pain-in-the-ass.
