I have a mac that i want to install windows 7 on. how can i burn the ISO to the DVD so that it will recognize it and boot up on it?

i've tried burning it about 6 times now, and everytime i go into my boot camp it gives me the error "No bootable device -- insert a bootable device and press any key to continue" the keyboard won't respond at all and i can't eject the DVD. i press option to get back to OSX, but i've tried and tried and tried again and i can't seem to do it properly.

thanks

I use Burn to burn ISOs on OS X.

Format the drive with the BootCamp Assistant, put the disk in the drive, reboot the Mac. Hold ALT to bring up the boot menu, select the disk and it will boot.

Once you are at the installation section, you will need to reformat the Win7 partition as OS X either doesn't do it properly or doesn't do it at all. Then you should be good to go.

I didn't burn the disc properly. i ended up using Imgburn (for windows) and i burned the ISO to my disc on one of my windows PCs. it worked flawlessly after that. before that, I tried using Toast Titanium Pro and Disk utility.... neither worked
