I have had serious troubles, I was running win 2k, and one day, I could not boot anymore,,, I tried a few times, and all the sudden it worked again,,, but for a while i had to turn it on twice to get it to boot ... last week, it never made it through the black win screen, where it has that loading row at the bottom...

Today I decided to reformat and get win on it again, I tried 2k that didn't work, crashed when copying files, and then I tried xp and you won't belive, same thing...

I am now wondering what that could be...

Do you have any idea?

My hardware is:

Iwill kk 266-r
T-Bird 1GHz (not overclocked at the moment)
3x 128 Muskin REV.3
Tekram DC-390U3W
Atlas 10kII 9 Gig (for os)
and a Matrox G450

all other parts are taken out...well DVD rom of course...

I really need help...

Were you running Win2k for the whole existance of your computer? Or did you upgrade from a lower OS?(ie Win98/me/95)

all right I am now taking everything out I won't need...

and no, I did not upgrade.. I installed w2k after I reformated...

Thanks, for your fast reply.
