I'm trying to install the cisco vpn client on mandrake 10.1. I got the 2.6 kernel source and i'm using version 4.04 A of the client
the file i got it from was:
vpnclient-linux-4.0.4.A-k9.tar.gz
I got the source by doing:
urpmi kernel-source-2.6
I can install it fine using the vpn_install script but when I try to run it using /etc/init.d/vpnclient_init start I get this:
Starting /usr/local/bin/vpnclient: insmod: error inserting '/lib/modules/2.6.8.1-10mdk/CiscoVPN/cisco_ipsec.ko': -1 Invalid module format
Failed (insmod)
i believe that version of the vpn client i'm using works with the 2.6 source, so I don't know whats wrong with it. Plz help
