Problem installing Motherboard in my case

The case I have (Ever Case 4252) comes with the mounting holes already elevated, but they also supply brass standoffs. When I install the mother board with the already risen standoffs, the motherboard rises too high and causes the motherboard not to match up with the I/O pannel, and the AGP and PCI cards do not make contact with the case. Would it be okay to install the motherboard on the already elevated mounting holes without the brass standoffs? Here's a picture, http://www.newegg.com/app/Showimage.asp?image=11-127-029-08.JPG/11-127-029-06.jpg/11-127-029-09.JPG/11-127-029-10.JPG/11-127-029-07.JPG

Thanks
