Problem Installing Internet Explorer 6

I just received the IE6 (along with Windows Media Player) CD from Microsoft (paid $10 for disk thru their website since I don't have high speed internet and trying to download large files is impossible). I installed the new IE6 and WMP on my computer with no problem (PIII 900, 98SE). I then tried to install the new IE6 (and WMP) on my wife's computer (PIII 850, same version Windows 98SE) and came up with immediately with an error. It barely sarted up and got an error shutdown when it tried to either load or run a program on the IE6 CD called Demo32. Anybody have any idea about what the problem may be with loading IE6 on this second computer. (I reloaded Windows 98SE on this second computer and the problem with Demo32 is still there). Thanks
